Learning in Cyberspace
A Poem by Beau Peterson and Kylyne Bingham
with
Help from All the Explorers
May 11, 1999
I turned on my computer,
and it went <ding.>
I clicked on a button,
and it went <ping.>
I opened a file,
and it went <click.>
I watched the screen,
and I heard the clock <tick.>
I opened my mailbox,
when it said, "You've got mail."
I clicked on your letter,
addressed to me at "Gale."
"Let's meet in cyberspace,"
you wrote with a <zing.>
You said, "Let's learn together."
and my heart started to <sing.>
"Let's make some inventions,
and then we'll compare."
Learning in cyberspace,
it's fun to share.
