Coke

 

It is my favorite drink

Don’t dare drink it out the sink

The color is not pink

No matter what you think

 

Yes, the drink is Coke

That’s the pop that I have spoke

Don’t drink to fast or you will choke

Each good sip of that great Coke

 

Coke has all that bubbly fizz

All that fizz comes with a whiz

Do you want that name again, Miss

Coca Cola is what it is

Small and Fragile

Smiling because she sees us do it

Wondering why we smile

 

Crawling into her own little world

Full of color and sounds

Sees a lot of stuff

Going to find out what they are

 

But what she sees is harmful

Mad because it was taken away

Sad because she is left alone

Or thinks she is

 

Happy and laughing

Happy she is free

Free to do what she wants

Free to be in her world

It is so hot now

I wish to swim in my pool

School will soon be out

      

 

 

Bees are buzzing by

Mosquitoes are sucking blood

I wish to fly away

 

 

Hopping all around

Jumping on the ground today

Frogs hop in the creek

 

It is dark outside

It will be raining soon

I close my windows

Basketball

Basketball is fun to play

The ball you use is nice and round

The ball you use bounces on the ground

You throw the ball and try to hit the rim

But if you miss don’t be grim

They have basketball on TV

You can watch just like me

If you cant play basketball

Don’t you cry and run into a wall

Basketball is a sport

That you play on a court

Basketball is a sport many like to play

They even have an association called the NBA
