The Iroquois
The mighty Iroquois were from the
North East,
Their population was sure not the least.
The skilled hard-working farmers were the women,
The brave hunters and warriors were the men.
The Iroquois once ate delicious stewed fish,
The children gathered berries for a dish.
Once in a while they ate fresh meats,
The Iroquois were taught to do feats.
Loud enough could Deganawida not speak,
Yet the league was formed and it sure was not weak.
Still he and Hiawatha helped make peace,
On their reservation they don't even need a lease.

Quanah Parker
Quanah Parker and his tribe beat the Spanish but not the whites.
His mother was white, but his father was an Indian chief.
After Quanah Parker was a chief he was asked to sit in court to fight for Native American rights.
But soon after, the whites came to have a war and put them through a lot of grief.
Quanah Parker lived in Texas where Spanish came with horses.
When the white people came for war, they left a lot of useful sources.
Sometimes water and food were scarce, then there was a drought.
Soon after, the whites came and captured Quanah's tribe but Quanah got them out.}
Geronimo
Geronimo was a great leader of the
Apache
He was born long ago in 1829
His clothes were very ragged and patchy
As a great warrior he was very fine.
This great chief participated in many fierce raids
He was always a devoted Christian
His long black hair was in braids
Geronimo's body was always in good condition.

The Seminoles
The Seminoles iong ago went to war
After the war their muscles became sore
What the Seminoles had they shared
The other people that lived there cared.
The Seminoles moved west
The Seminoles thought it was the best
The white men fought for their land
