Reproduction

    Gannets nests are made out of seaweed,sticks,moss,feathers and fish skeletons.The female Gannet lays one bluish-white egg in late May.The parents take turns incubating the egg.Chicks hatch around the first week of July.They have no down and they are grey.The chick sprawls around the nest.Down grows after about 2 weeks.Plumage grows after 2 weeks.
